The EventDate & Location announced!The 2016 AMazeBot competition show will happen at the following place and time: Mohawk College, Fennell campus, room F-118
Wednesday November 23, 12:00 to 13:00 Click here for directions to and a map of the Mohawk campus. On the event day, we run the competition on a big screen in front of many spectators. All of the bots are put through a challenging number of the same mazes. Here is an example screen (not real competitors) from 2009:
The mazes used in the competition are not known to the programmers. The first few rounds use randomly generated mazes. Then, for the final round, we unveil our custom hand-drawn maze (which tends to be the most difficult!). In the end the winners are determined and prizes distributed. Much fun is had by all, and we encourage everyone to come watch the show and support our students. |
